JT McDonald serves as a Trustee for Milton Township and has been a proud resident of the community for the past eight years. Prior to retirement, JT held various marketing and management roles in corporate America and later started and ran a successful software company. JT brings practical business insight and strong problem-solving skills to township leadership.
JT is committed to supporting responsible governance, maintaining the township’s quality of life, and ensuring that local services remain efficient and responsive to residents’ needs. He values open communication and believes in working collaboratively to address the community’s priorities. He has also served for the past four years on the Milton Township Planning Commission.
JT has been married to his wife, Sarah, for 40 years. Together, they have two married daughters and are proud grandparents to five grandchildren.
The statutory duties of a township trustee include:
- Township legislators, required to vote on all issues
- Responsible for the township’s fiduciary health
