Hazardous Waste Day

Major appliances like refrigerators and washing machines will not be accepted. Air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and fireworks are also not accepted. They also do not accept used motor oil and fire extinguishers. Ammunition and bio-hazards are not allowed either. Propane tanks larger than 20 pounds will not be accepted. 

Flags will be distributed to a local VFW to be disposed of properly.

Also note that latex paint is not hazardous and is discarded with ordinary refuse. Before discarding, people are encouraged to let the paint dry out.

No appointment is necessary.
